7 hole or 9 hole shank for Blue OX Swaypro?

The top of the hitch ball needs to sit slightly above the top of my receiver to accommodate the install instructions. Will this be possible with the 7 hole shank or will I need the 9 hole shank?

Depends on your camper and your truck. What do you have?

If you measure to the top of your ball and the top of your receiver hitch the difference will be the drop/rise.

2015 Jayco x23b (20.25" coupler height)

I need the ball to sit slightly above the receiver (.25-1.25"). I think the standard 7 hole will get me there, but want to make sure before ordering.

I think you'll be fine. You can contact BlueOx to be sure I would think you'd only need the 9 hole with a 2500 or some other big difference.

Agree.

If need a significant up or down height adjustment, you would need the 9-hole, but what you're dealing with, the 7-hole should be perfect.

Am I missing something? When you say 'receiver', you mean the hitch receiver on your truck, correct? The standard 7 hole will definitely get you there. It will get you multiple inches either above, or below your receiver. I have the Sway Pro as well and use the standard shank on both of my trucks, which requires a 5 1/2" adjustment in ball placement on the shank from one to the other. If you need less than 1 1/2" ball height above your trucks receiver, the standard will definitely get you there.
