Baja package w/ flip axle

Hi all,

I am seriously considering 2021 Jay Flight SLX 7 174BH Baja package, which comes with the flip axle and 15" tires.

Does anyone knows the hitch height when the trailer at ground level? I am a bit concerned that my 2015 Chrysler - Town and Country Mini-Van is not tall enough for the hitch hookup.

Thanks,

From memory on previous posts, I believe the coupler height is 24 1/2" or 25". You're more than likely going to need a hitch with a rise to it, to keep the hitched trailer fairly level.

Here's a video on how to calculate that. It's not on a WDH, but the process is the same.

That's bad news... My mini-van hitch receiver height is 12 1/2". Would the old trick of flipping the ball mount upside down work? Is it safe to do so?

I plan on installing EQ hitch to the trailer, would it help? Thanks,

Yes you can flip them up. Equalizer has several hitch shank sizes to choose from, for rise and drop measurements. Here's their website page for those.
