Curt Echo Brake Controller

I ordered a Curt Echo wireless (blue tooth) brake controller on Tuesday. Should be delivered today.

Not sure if anyone has tried on yet, but I'll post what i think of it after i get it set up.

Looks pretty cool. Wonder if there will be any lag time with the BT connection? You could get a prodigy p3 for much less, btw

That is true, but if this works as it should i don't need to do any wiring and can move if from tv to tv with no fuss...

In theory this thing sounds very cool. My concern (especially from a safety perspective) is that anything wireless is prone to external interference---sometimes at the most inopportune times. Hope it works out for you!

Since this is bluetooth and not straight wireless it has to be paired. Can someone hack it, yes...but rolling down the road will make that more difficult. Also, if you loose connection to the app the brakes will still work at the last setting it received.

Got the unit in yesterday. It paired right up (has a pin you need to input). Will test it with trailer Saturday and see how well it works.
