lake louise to revelstoke

Hi,

I'm looking for any feedback on towing (loaded) a 6000lb. trailer with a 5.3 Silverado, 3.42 gears and HD trailer package, from Lake Louise to Revelstoke, BC. and back. Starting to plan for next year, if all goes well. Thanks for any info.

No specific info on your route, but I towed my ~6000lb White Hawk around the U.S. with a short wheel base Yukon 5.3 and never had any issues. Never towed any serious mountains, like the I70 passes through the Rockies, but it performed fine. Gas mileage was abysmal and had to take it slow at times, but never any issues.

Use the same gear to descend as you used to ascend!
