Same Toad - Different Jayco Wiring Question

We currently own a 2019 Jayco Redhawk 22J. We tow a Jeep Wrangler JK using the Roadmaster Invisibrake system. We are trading the 22J unit in on a 2020 Jayco Greyhawk 27U.

1. Will the 27U work with the Invisibrake system without any modifications to the coach?

2. Will the system work without installing the indicator light in the Jayco 27U? We don't use the dash indicator light in the 22J and all if fine.

I have also sent this question to Jayco and Roadmaster and I will be glad to share replies if/when received. Just hoping someone here might have some information to share.

Thanks in advance for all replies.

No problem what-so-ever. The 7 Pin wiring on the motorhome should be the same and the umbilical cord 7 pin is the only connection point (electrically) between the motorhome and TOAD.

The indicator on the dash is a brake monitor and without it you will not know when/if the Invisibrake is applying the brakes on the TOAD. It should not impact operation if it is not moved over.

We use the RoadMaster Sterling towbar and baseplate and the InvisiBrake in our Jeep Grand Cherokee and had no issues when we went from the Challenger (Class A) to the Accolade (Super C). My brake monitor, however, is the RoadMaster universal monitor so I just moved the monitor from the Challenger to the Accolade.

Dave, Thank you for the reply and thank you for your service to our nation. I never had the honor to serve (was 4F), but my dad survived Omaha Beach on D-day and was wounded in the Ardeness Forest (Bulge).
