Upgraded step stool to truck step

DW is unable to get into our 3500 dually without a step stool. Because it gets old real fast I built a second step for the Ram.

I made it 1 inch lower than the step stool. Still plenty of ground clearance. DW loves it.

Looks good John. DW must be really pleased. I need a ladder to get into my stock height '17 F-250, lol.

Did you hitch to the step permanently or is it just hooked over the top?

It’s leveraged under the cab and over the running board. It’s held tightly with a heavy ty wrap.
