What is the part name?

Hello,

I have my tow chains extended. I lost one of those connectors. What is the name of the part? I could not find it online, Home Depot did not have it either.

Thanks a lot!

It's called a Clevis Link.

Clevis Link at Amazon

There isn't really anything special about the joint. I'd just use a quick link instead. That's what a lot of trailers use to connect to the chain rings on the hitch. Pretty much any hardware store will carry them. Just make sure to get one rated for the weight it might have to hold in an emergency.

Double chain clevis brings up images of that in Google.

Cheers

I'm using 3 quick links. 2 for the chains and 1 for the brake cable.
