When I had my trailer, I swore up and down if those electric stabs ever died, I would replace with scissor jacks. They never failed, and we sold the trailer recently, so I never got the chance to follow through on my threat.
They weren't particularly fast, they weren't particularly good either. I found the best things I could do to reduce movement in my trailer were to put some kind of jack "midship" (just in front of the axle) and X-chocks between the tires.
My plan was to replace all 4 corners with scissor jacks, and install another set in the middle (total 6 stabilizers). With my rechargeable drill (which I carried all the time anyway), I could get all the jacks down faster than the power jacks, AND have a more stable setup. And they're A LOT cheaper than the electric ones too.
