Jayco 16xrb Main electrical panel

Has anyone accessed the back of the panel? I am looking at getting a hardwired EMS and installing it, I am just wondering if the panel itself comes out or if I have to pull the top board off to access it. Also, when it came off did you damage it?

Not sure if this helps or not, but in my 19h mine is installed below the bathroom sink. Likely way "in front" of the panel.

My 16XRB has the main electrical panel with breakers, fan, etc. and it's located on the front of the cabinet under the back bunk access. I've pulled it before (had to be replaced under warranty). Not too hard to remove and I've got the replacement unit saved in my Amazon cart if I ever have to replace it once the warranty expires. I believe it's a $160 part. Wiring it on the other hand could take some time.

You can removed it from the wall. There are 4 screws that hold it in place. Don't recall where the screws are located, but they were on the face side of the panel. When I removed mine, I could only pull it out a little ways, just enough to get a hand in there, as the main power cord was clamped to the floor. Reached in, removed the fasteners, and then it popped right out. It's a rat's nest back there. I would recommend checking all the terminal lugs and tighten them down. I found a few that were loose.

When I put it back together I installed the wire clamp in a different spot, so I could get the panel in/out in the future with a bit more easy. But make sure to add that clamp, so when you pull the cable out of the hole, you do not yank directly on the terminals.
