I had one. A bit to much work just to level when there's other setup to do.

I thought it was much easier then having to keep backing up and adding /removing boards then driving up checking level and repeating process. plus it stabilizes wheel very well.

After a few outings you'll get to know your trailer better and when you eyeball the site compared to your stick-on levels you'll be able to estimate how many blocks to put under the wheels.

I just use the 2 by 6s. Home Depot even cut them to size for me at no charge. I think I had less than 6 bucks invested. I just throw them in the back of the pickup. No need to bevel them. If I need more than one on a side I just off set them a bit.
