All the Husky WDH I saw online had chains to lift the bars...you wont have much difficulty releasing / attaching these types of bars regardless of the terrain (4-way control WDH types- like Equal-I-Zer brand - are a different story on uneven terrain).

You definitely want to disconnect the anti-sway bar...the Husky types I saw online can bind, fold and shear on tight maneuverings.

I had a Valley WDS and sway control. Then I installed a Hensley Arrow Hitch. I have never removed the bars when backing into a site.

I agree I would remove the sway bar but not the WDH. I have never taken these off while backing into a site.

If I don't remove my sway bar before backing in, my hitch clip on the trailer side gets bent. So, now it comes off before backing in.
