Replacement stabilizer - which clearance for an X17Z?
I'm looking for replacements for bent rear stabilizers (I didn't do it) on my X17Z. Which clearance height would you recommend? I found a 17'' and a 20''.

PS: I decided to not go with scissor jacks, because I don't want to have to deal with drilling or mounting. My goal is to have ones that are simple to install.

Sure, YOU didn't bend them, because that would take incredible strength. It was the impact with the ground that bent them... (LOL - JK Steve, but I can't resist a line like that).
I would recommend the longer length. The example is that the 17" will fit up to 16" frame clearance. Uh, sure, as long as the ground unevenness doesn't exceed an inch...
I've camped in a few locales where an extra 3" of extension would have come in pretty handy. I'd go for the longer reach as long as you have room under the trailer. Note that the bolt location will probably change for the rear mount point at least, so some drilling might be necessary.
Otherwise, measure the length of the extension arm on your current one and go with that.

LOL! Perhaps I should have said that I didn't have anything to do with them being bent. They were like that when I bought the camper. I refuse to discuss whether I may or may not have made them worse at some point.

Good advice. It's hard to say how long the current ones are exactly, since they're bent pretty good. They reach the ground, but it's hard to say how much stabilization I'm actually getting. I'll probably just go with the longer ones and drill a hole into the mount if I have to.

I am new to the forum but I just purchased 4 new scissor jacks to replace the factory stabilizer jacks that are bent and rusted from the previous owner. I will post some pics once I install the new ones.

Returning the scissor jacks, they hang to low and will probably get damaged going over a speed bump.

Your 17Z is the same era, as my X23B, we have 17" stabilizers.
I have a bent fron stabilizer too. I have been looking at direct replacements. They do not hang very low, and should clear most driving hazards. The scissors style hang about 4" down when closed. On our low profile campers, I am afraid I would drag them going in and out of some driveways.

I probably should have followed up on this. I did end up with 17'' BAL stabilizers purchased from Amazon, and they're pretty good. I only needed them in the back, but they're definitely better than the stock ones that are still on the front. At some point I'm going to replace the ones on the front as well.
