Tire Covers. Yes? No?

While camping, I noticed a lot of travel trailers cover their tires in the camp grounds. I'm wondering whether this is a good idea or not? Does it actually protect the trailer tires?

Thank you!

I cover my tires while in storage, not while camping. However I don't think it would be a bad idea to cover while camping.

I've always stored indoors so I don't cover while stored and for the short time the tires are exposed while camping I don't worry about it.

I try to install them if I am in one spot over a week. Particularly if sun exposure is direct.

Yes. Especially during storage.
