U-shape dinette issues

I was wondering if anyone else has had issue with table. 2015 x23b first trip uncovered cushion and corner of table damage. Dealer ordered and replaced table. Arrived at next destination and uncovered cushions to find the same issue.

We have had the U shaped dinette in 2 TT and we broke the corner of the table on the last one because it wasn't sitting behind the rubber stopper while made into a bed and weight was put on it. It broke the corner and some of the table. Our new unit the back or removeable section, the support was too high for the table to sit on it and the table would slide forward. It was only being supported by the two sides of the dinette. So we removed the support and moved it down 2 inches and glued and screwed it in and all has been well.

We just unscrewed and removed the rubber stoppers and everything lines up and fits fine.

Our used 23B had a damaged table to start...we continued to use it while we waited for the replacement.

You definitely need to pay attention and double check that it is sitting properly.

I'm not sure this helps but we made four wooden coasters that sit under the table feet and support the table when it's in the bed position. The coasters don't change the height but help keep the table edges from taking all the load. Again, I'm not sure that helps.

I used some 3/4" cabinet grade plywood and made my own platform..It seems as though the boxes that the dinette table sit in are not always built correctly leaving too much pressure on the edges of the table causing the break.I put a center support on my base as well...An elephant could sleep on it now!!! I just sold my hybrid and used the same piece to go into the new Starcraft...I will never use the table again...IMO it's not strong enough!!
