Question Used 23B - Extended warranty?

Just picked up our used 2011 23B last week.

The dealer offered a 48mo extended warranty, "PreseRVe Extended protection plan" for just under 2K.

Covers the following:
Suspension
Brakes
Chassis Frame & Hitch
HW Heater
Waste systems
Fresh Water System
Roof AC
Range & Oven
LP Gas System
Furnace
Fridge
Seals & Gaskets (? assuming you have to have the dealer do maint?)
TV/DVD/Radio
Slide outs (mechanical & seals)

Now, as a general rule, I don't buy extended warranties. But I have been know to get them when they seemed reasonably priced otherwise worthwhile.

But we are new to this world, didn't have so much to worry about in a tent.

So I thought I'd see what the veterans here thought...

Thanks!

IMO pass. that money will go a long ways to fixing any issues

The Hot water heater, A/C, furnace and Fridge are the 4 major components that could fail but the cost of replacement wouldn't be that bad.

Hey congrats on the newer x23b. You'll be glad you bought it.as far as your warranty I don't know if its worth the money or not. If you're handy and keep up on the maintance I think you'd be fine without it.

The guy who bought it brand new most likely had all the problems fixed already. As others have said save the money on the extended warranty and go camping.

I have a 10 year-old 23B (albeit I've owned it only 1 year) and none of those covered items have been an issue...Had an old basic pop-up for 10 years before that and never had issues with any of those components either. IMO, $2K is a bit steep for the coverage....

That's pricey. If you're handy you can fix most things yourself. As said above, my experiences have been that very little needs fixing over the years. Put the $2k in the bank instead. If you fix it yourself, chances are you would never spend anywhere near $2k in total repairs over a 2 year period, let alone 10 years.

My gut said no...and it seems to be unanimous here.
