Water on bathroom floor

Hello everyone. First time camping with my 2018 16XRB that I bought used a few weeks ago.
Grey tank level indicators showed “Full” and I was preparing to dump. Wife was just rinsing a couple glasses to finish up, and she noticed kitchen sink was draining very slow. I went into the bathroom for something and noticed water on the floor. Looked like it seeped out around the shower basin. We also had a plastic bag of clothes in the shower stall that was covering the drain. Don’t know if that also had anything to do with it. Maybe a vent issue? Is what we encountered normal? Indicative of what happens if the grey water tank gets overfilled? Seeps out around the shower basin?
Wouldn’t there be an overflow to outside? This is all new to me.
Thanks everyone

There is not an "overflow" for the tanks. Is sounds very much like your grey tanks is full and backing up. Did you dump it?

The shower is usually the low point for most grey tanks and that is where it will back up first. If you blocked the drain, it came out at the first opportunity. You will need to dump the tank, and find a way to get to where it backed up and get it dried out. Mold is an ugly thing.

Leave the grey tank open. Close the black tank. A day or two before you are planning to dump the black tank, close the grey. Then after you dump the black open the grey to flush the line. Leave it open and repeat with the next black flush.

Just note that @CAG's advice only works if you actually have sewer hookups. Otherwise just leave both tanks closed, and always dump black before grey.

And yes, the overflow for the grey tank is generally the shower pan on most TT's. You'll get to know the water management on your trailer soon enough, but don't necessarily trust those gauges - they are rarely anywhere near accurate. We can generally go 3-4 days between dumping, and our black always fills before our grey, but we never wash dishes inside or take showers inside.
