X23B TV mounts

I just got a 2016 23B. I am confused as to how you move the TV from inside to the outside TV bracket. It is mounted on a factory swivel bracket on the left side of the back splash under the stereo. It seems the outside bracket would require buying another TV mount and changing mounts?

I thought this was a easy in or out setup. It seems you really need a second TV and another mount to match the outside. Anyone have information on this?

I have a 2013 23b which the TV is mounted in the same spot, and there is no quick disconnect on mine. For the few times we have wanted a TV outside so we could watch the Finals while the kids were asleep, I have always just brought a second tv.

TV mount

Ended up using a TV from the basement. I was able to use the Jayco mount and leave it on the TV and just take it with us when we camp. Wife made a padded sleeve with handles . Just throw it in there and we're off. Don't forget the remote !!!!! ( experienced of course )

My 2018 came with a mount to use on the outside hanger. I bought a small flat screen TV from my daughter after she got a new bigger one for Christmas. I plan on sliding the TV in between the front bunk mattress for travel. As I understand it, the outside jack is not wired into the on board DVD player. I found a HDMI extension cord I can plug into the one going to the inside TV and run it out the slider on the screen door. I also bought a 400 watt inverter to power the TV when boondocking so I don't have to run the genny to watch a movie.
