RAM Cruise Control Recall

Got a recall notice today for the cruise control on my RAM. I've seen discussions regarding this on some of the RAM forums but wasn't sure if mine was affected or not. It's a software update to the ECM or PCM module to fix an issue with the fault handling strategy to prevent a "positive torque request" from getting locked in the ECM/PCM. The letter advises not to use the cruise control until remediated. Below is a screen shot of the table showing affected vehicles and production dates:

I may be mistaken but I believe that’s for gas engines only.

I believe that is correct - gas engines only. I think manual transmissions are also excluded but the letter I got isn't that detailed. If you have a moparownerconnect.com account and have registered your vehicle you should get confirmation there or go to www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and plug in your VIN number.

I took one of our police cruisers (Charger) in for the same recall last week. The service tech said they have been slammed with recalls lately.
