My bathroom exhaust fan will not shut off. The red switch when pressed multiple times will not turn it off. I don't want to spend another night with the main power disengaged so my husband can sleep.

Is there a thermostat built in? We are ready to cut the wires.

Welcome to the forum and so sorry for your issue but I want to say what about having someone pull the fuse in the fuse box it should tell you which one goes to the bathroom. It also might be that you just have to reset it by that way and in the mean time call the dealer to see if they can help.

I had this. With battery disconnected you can remove blade and reach in and unplug connector or there is 4 screws on the corners you can remove screws and fan will drop out. I bought a switch at Home Depot and put it in temporarily. my rig is in shop for a replacement low profile AC and the dealer is going to replace the fan. When it gets home next week I am putting in the Maxx Fan Deluxe with remote!
