32bhds rear slide - one way

On my 2016 Jay flight 32BHDS the rear slide will only go out, not in. When I go to move it in I hear a clicking in the fuse/control system and the lights even drop out so there is some odd electrical gremlin here.. The main slide works great, as does the awning which all three share the same circuit. As the front main slide is not an issue I swapped the switch and it did not change the outcome, the rear still is not working. I have this issue on both shore and battery power so I don't think its the power in. Questions: How do I Identify the slide motor system manufacture? Is there a good way to test reversing the polarity directly as the switch seem to not be the issue (thinking I could swap the positive/negative at the motor to see if in work but out does not). Service at a shop is over 6 months out in Denver so I am trying to do what i can to avoid calling it a season. I need to know more about the parts so I could order replacements if needed, but over all learning to troubleshoot this a bit better is going to help.

Thank you all for any advice

What kind of slide is it? In the wall? Through the frame? More info is needed to help you, pictures are even better!

It sounds like something is blocking it or binding it. Look carefully at all the tracks for any obstruction.....

It’s a pinion gear system from what I see now. Today I reversed the wires on the motor and it can go in now but not out. I swapped the full switch and connectors from the front slide. The issue stays, the front works just fine but then back is only going on way.
As it’s moving with the wires reversed I don’t think it’s binding. It has to be some electrical issue between the back of the switch and the motor.

Solved:

wanted to post the fix incase someone has this issues.
the issue was a short in the wires from the switch to the motor (green and yellow out of the switch). I ran new wire and it's as good as new.
