Living in Arizona.. it's so darn hot nothing will grow in the tank ! LOL Once drained the tank is dry within a few hours. I run maybe 5 -8 gallons in the tank and run them through the water lines. We always have campground water so only carry enough water in the RV to flush the toilet or wash our hands. Have not had an issue, again, not something I am overly concerned about since we rarely use the FW tank.

I can see those using the FW tank on a regular basis, or living in a more humid area where mold etc is an issue, would need to do different things.

Happy Camping !
