Brake Hum
Jayco '05 25E Ultra Lite Travel Trailer (TT). '08 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck (TV), and brake controller (BC) in use for 10yrs, no prob. This year detected a low hum from brakes when connected to TT. No detected heating of brake drums, sometimes BC shows TT not connected. TT does not brake when I press TV brake pedal. TT does brake when I used manual control of BC. Not a wiring issue unless undetected wire short/open as this has worked for 10yrs. Brakes have never been adjusted. Thought perhaps TT connector not making contact as pins appear dull and worked last yr but problem surfaced immediately when I first went to use TT after winter. Ideas appreciated.
