Crack
Discovered this little gem, at the bottom front of the bedroom slide, last night. It doesn't look too bad right now, but haven't had a chance to hitch up and see what that does to it yet. Dealer will be getting a call when they open this morning...
I know there are several folks on here that have dealt with cracks, and to the best of my knowledge Jayco has come through on the repairs. My understanding is that they open up the wall, add some additional structural support, and button it back up again.
My concern though is safety, especially as we have a fairly long trip planned, and I don't want to be "that guy". For those that have dealt with this, was there ever a safety concern?
Thanks in advance for the advice!

I would not discount it and I have seen some horror stories but most are just stress points that flex when connected up enough to cause the fiber to crack.
Follow up with your dealer as you stated. It's likely not the first one they have seen.

Has anyone had the crack with the Queen bed option or only on King beds?
EDIT- I guess the question should be is the king and queen the same size slide?

Rob, not a safety issue just cosmetic. There are numerous threads where the issue is discussed. We had them on both LR slides on our 38 FLSA. Best approach is get it documented by your dealer and if you can, get it to the factory for the repair.
Here's one thread:

That happened in our Greyhawk. The living room slide had a crack from the floor to the bottom edge of the opening for the slide. There was no support there at all, it was just luan and the filon. The crack was completely open on the outside of the coach to the inside. I filled it with silicone and never had a problem. I didn't notice it until a couple years after the warranty expired.

The slide on my Eagle is the same no matter which bed option you get.
Love the KING!

Only difference is with the queen you get "nightstands" for lack of a better description.

Update
Heard from our dealer yesterday...
As Grumpy said, the crack is simply a cosmetic issue, caused by too much flex in the frame. We will be dropping the rig off at the factory for repair on 3-25-2019.
In the meantime, drill a small hole at the end of the crack to prevent it spreading further, fill the hole and crack with silicone, and keep using the rig.
Will post pictures once the repair is done.

Man that's really sad to hear that happing on a 2018. I was hoping they have corrected that on the 2018's being that's what year I have. You would think after 10 years of warranty repairs they would fix it in the beginning while they are building it! And then to have to take it back to the factory for repair! That's a haul for me.
