How do I remove the refrigerator vent cover

Turn the two black knobs until they are up and down. Pull gently on the top corners, tilt out and lift slightly to disengage the bottom tabs.

Reverse to re-install.

Watch out for wasps if you don't have screens under the hatches.

And another thing, they’ve been known to blow off so after my before trip inspection I put a small piece of tape on either side of the door to prevent that from happening. In your case “ Black Duct Tape” an inch is enough.
