Well much as what happened to Gumby, I got my son to come push the button for me while I was under the trailer and it just started working again. No idea why. It worked in and out for 15 minutes. I checked all the stops. Everything looks good.

I'm certain it will fail again, but at least I know where to go now.

I had a 2010 Eagle Super Lite and the large kitchen slide would do this ever so often usually once or twice a year. I did notice that when I closed it if I let off the button as soon as the slide made the first sound at closing it almost never failed to open the next time. If I was heavy on the button and made it click several times it might not open. I would just go underneath and turn the drive screw a 1/4 turn and it was good to go. Happy Camping and God Bless!

You should be able to google the # on the motor for a cross reference. The gears look like Lippert slide.

Had the same problem happen Memorial weekend. After limping home and being able to work on it I realized that the “can” had ended up going through the cutout in the frame. The can was destroyed by the time I got it pried out of the frame. Called a welder friend and took it to his shop and he made a new plate to cover the hole with his CNC machine. Then he welded the new plate to the frame and we adjusted the new position of the can to stop the slide at the correct position. Hopefully the pictures upload of his work. First 2 are where the can was going into the cutout for the shaft. Second 2 are the fix in place. Looks like they may come through sideways. Sorry

Did you get it fixed?

I'm having the same issue with my 2010 Eagle. Motor is a Dexter Control Group VT00206, which as I understand was bought by Lippert. I'm trying to decide if I need to just replace the motor, lubricate the gear box, or do something like you did with the stop can.

thanks.

GumbyN28 —

I replaced my actuator and my issues went away. I kept the old one so if you are still close by and still having issues you’re welcome to any parts off of it.
