Northpoint shower valve

2017 Northpoint 375BHFS. Our shower has the American Brass shower valve. It is the single handle with the threaded hose spout out the bottom. 12 o'clock is off. You rotate it counterclockwise and cold water starts and down around the 8:30 position is when the hot water starts to mix in. Full on hot water is 8 o'clock. It's somewhat difficult to find a comfortable water temp. Once you do if you lightly bump into the handle or even lightly tap it, it's either coming out like liquid magma or ice cubes depending on which way you disturbed it.

Anybody else have this issue??

I've pulled it out and completely tore it down. There was nothing inside blocking it and there is no adjustment to be made at all. The holes in the mixing plate inside seem fine and I really dont want to molest the holes to try to make it better in fear all I'm gonna do is make it worse.
I tried to call the company but didnt get an answer. May have been a little too late in the afternoon, but I'm gonn try again tomorrow and see what they say.

Had same issue on 2017 Northpoint 377. Purchased dual lever from Amazon and solved problem.

That's what I was thinking of doing. I like the dual valve setup because you can adjust the water pressure to help conserve water when we are not at full hook up.

Same issue here. We have the tankless water heater and control the temp by setting the wall monitor on what temps you like.

So heres the faucet I installed.

Dura Faucet Designer RV Shower Faucet Valve Diverter - For: Recreational Vehicle, Motor Home, Travel Trailer, Camper, Fifth (5th) Wheel, Towable - RV Faucet

Much better. I installed it with the shower outlet pointing down and just reversed the hot and cold buttons on the ends of the levers. The finish matches almost perfect. Only way to tell is having right next to another fixture in the trailer. Otherwise you'd never know.

Nice job! I replaced both sink faucets, and I know the kitchen one is from Durefaucet. Nice stuff from them.

Hey sorry to ask but how do you remove the shower valve? I need to replace and can’t seem to find nothing on it. I have a 17’ Jayco north point 375

Possibly an access panel in the cabinets over your recliners.
