Power Tongue Jack

Would it be safe to run 2 power supplies to a power tongue jack ? A friend basically has the same camper as I do with the exception of it being an "Elite" package but his power tongue jack will not operate unless it is hooked directly to his truck. Mine on the other hand will operate off my truck and off my 12v battery on the tongue ( yes he does have a battery on his camper too, first thing I checked.)

Anyone wanna take a stab at this ?

I was thinking of splicing his power supply that goes to the truck and running a direct line to the 12v camper battery.......

He probably has a 7 pole plug on his PowerJack (they only use batt+ and Ground)
You can wire it directly to the TT battery and use a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker.
Quick Jack has a circuit breaker in the unit. Also QuickJack you can give a full 180 degree if the tailgate don't want to lay flat.
