replacement vent lid- possible upgrade?

hi,
2004 jayco sport 165,
High winds completely blew off my bathroom vent lid- not a piece of it left.

Does anyone know the vent lid I need to purchase as replacement?
I can't find my specifications listed, standard size seems to be 14x14. But I also need to know the hinge type?
** I'm sorry but I looked & don't know. I will try to add picture.

also, I was wondering re the Fantastic Fan? It seems I could just completely replace the whole unit---- wondering if it really makes that much of a difference for the trailer- keeping it cool etc. And cutting down AC use.

Thanks everyone

https://www.amazon.com/rv-vent-cover...%20replacement

The main thing is to make sure the lifting attachment is in the same place on the replacement as the original

Might want to pick up a couple of tubes of self leveling sealant while at the shop to get the new lid.

Believe it or not, I've never had a leak!

but-- Yes, I noted that the sealant around this fan vent, 2 small round vents and the AC, had cracks like this one does... Now that I'm aware of this sealant condition-- it's only a matter of time before I start having leaks. Isn't that how it goes? lol

*Do I need to scrape away all of the old sealant before applying the new?

Thanks for reply

I've be seen that people go over the old stuff but my preference is to remove it and start fresh. You won't get it all but just take your time and you will get most.

I replaced my fan and lid. The Maxx units are worth it. Much more air capability, 10 speeds and even on the highest speed they are quieter than the OEM. At level 3 I cannot hear it if I am not right under it.

I did not remove the old sealant. Just clean it and apply the new stuff.

Took me about an hour, start to finish to do the complete fan replacement.

thank you for your reply,
I feel confident about replacing the fan or lid, whichever I go with...
re sealant-- I am going to just do as you did, clean it up and apply new sealant as needed, it's lasted this long so it must be really on there, just a matter of filling in all the cracks etc.
*it won't necessarily look as pretty though.
thanks again
