Trailer covers

Are trailer covers worth the investment. I worry them not letting them breathe and causing mildew

We tried 3 brands. Two of them caused mildew. We had a very nice custom Sunbrella one that did not cause mildew. We do live in a humid climate with 60-70" of rain/year. We currently do not use one.

We're in western NY state and do cover our TT for the winter. It'll be going on in the next few days. We've never had a mold or mildew problem, with either the Adco cover that held up for several years, or the current one from National RV Covers that's going on its third season. Just our preference to cover it up to keep it clean and protected. I suppose it does depend on the climate in your area.

We’re going on our fourth year with an Elements Tyvek cover used during winter. We get 30” of rain a year (if we’re lucky) and have never had a hint of mildew. It breathes well and dries out quickly.

Get four tennis balls, cut a small “X” in each and push them onto the drip spout. They’ll stay on there when you’re pulling the cover over it and will protect it well.

X2. I have one I use in summer if we’re home more than a couple of weeks. It’s light enough I can put it on/off alone. It has held up well in winds and searing sun, going on three years.
