Winterizing Jayco Select 12HW

We purchased a used 2006 Select 12HW this summer and I am trying to winterize. We did not used the water system since we only took the unit out one time after purchasing late in the season.

I do not believe that it had water in the system this season. The drain plug was out of the water heater and the storage tank is empty.

The diagrams in the owners manual do not match the piping in the trailer. I was looking for the by-pass for the water heater, and could not find one.

From one of the other threads I get a better idea on the suction line at the pump to install the antifreeze. However the real issue is still the by-pass of the water heater. I do not want to fill the water heater. The water heater was under some paneling that appears to have been added by a previous owner. after I removed that there are no valves there. There are no valved in the cabinet closest to the water heater. The only valves I can find are those near the pump.

Usually the valves for water heater bypass are behind the water heater and accessed by the necessity to remove a panel or hatch somewhere.
While unlikely, it is possible that your rig did not come from the manufacturer with bypass valves for the water heater.
I am not sure what year water heater bypass valves became standard equipment. I just remember from my older rigs that they were not.

This is the typical arrangement, the valves are in an odd configuration here because the bypass valve is open and so is the valve that puts water into the tank, so that's not correct, but give you an idea of what you are looking for, and where it would be in relation to your water heater... right off the back.
