2014 Greyhawk step deploying when ignition is turned on

Have a 2014 Greyhawk 29mv and the automatic step has started coming down when the rv ignition is turned on......any ideas what it might be and has anyone else had this issue?

I would check the door switch. The ignition interlock may not be sensing the door is closed.

It happened to me after I replaced the motor on my own and had the wires flipped. If this just started happening, then I'm not sure.

You're staying:
- ignition off, steps are up
- start the vehicle and the steps come down?

The magnet button mounted on the door may not be close enough to the reed switch sensor on the door jamb when the door is closed.

Wouldn't the step just stay out in that situation, and never retract? The separation of the magnets tells the step to go out.
