2017 Jayco Redhawk 31XL Help

Hello!

We are trying to extend our pop out without electricity but just with the generator running and it’s not working. Is there a way to get it to work? Thank you in advance.

I may be wrong, but I believe the slide out motors run off 12V. Not AC (120V shore power or generator). I'm guessing that other 12V appliances in the RV are working? [ Lights, furnace ]

So "no electricity and generator running" is ok but probably not what's at the heart of the problem.

I'm not sure if you have a Schwintek model slide system or something else, but you might try watching a few of the Youtube videos and see if they have some recommended debugging.

Awnings are definitely 12 volt and independent of 120 volts. First check would be fuses. Having the generator on would engage the converter which should have supplied the necessary voltage. That should eliminate the battery as the source of the problem.

I wonder if this is an awning issue or a slide out?
