2018 Redhawk 29XK questions

Couple of questions/info needed. Is there storage under the bed in the 29xk? Mine has the wood underneath but it is screwed down. Also where is a good source to get a mattress topper that exactly fits the bed? I think it is a queen short with radius corners.

Not sure about the storage under the bed...our 29MVP bed lifts and there is storage under but it's also accessible from the outside so we don't lift the bed.

The short queen mattress topper we got from Camping World. Easy to install and fits great with the rounded corners. It's the 4" (2" memory foam and 2" of pillowtop) and makes the factory mattress sleep nice and comfy.

Mine is like yours no underneath bed storage . Did you notice that Jayco brochures says there is storage under bed.

We have a 2017 29XK but the bed/storage is the same as yours. We initially put a foam topper on the short queen and cut the corners to fit. Being 6'2", the short queen just wasn't cutting it so I cut a new longer plywood base and installed a residential queen.

They just don't say how you get to the under bed storage, do they?
