2020 Redhawk 24B new owner checking in

for anyone that has one, what's the must-have's y'all did first?
spare tire for sure, but what else?

looking around, i know there's tons of $$$ you can spend, but we're probably
going to do some weekends first (traded in trailer) so we already have two weekends booked.

in the fall this year we're going on 2 week road trip to Keys & ??

thanks, really like the help freely posted on this forum.

ETA; the chassis still has some warranty thru Ford (only 7600 miles); do i need to verify this with them via checking in with a local dealer? is it 36 months/3 years?

Unfortunately, the biggest issue seems to be the large slider issues. It fails after awhile with most owners of this model. By now, you may have read about it on this forum.

With getting a spare tire/wheel, I also carry a breaker bar, 22 mm deep socket, 8 ton bottle jack, pry bar, wood for chocks and also help leveling the RV. A cheap set of sockets, multi-meter, and screwdrivers.

Given the number of problems we see on this forum regarding the slide on the 24B, I'd stay away from that model.

That slide is cursed and when fixed it is simply back at square one ready to fail again. Poor engineering and is VERY expensive to "fix" each time. We rarely bother to put it out now that it is out of warranty. You have been warned, no point in looking to your salesman for comfort.
