29MV Mattress Extension

I know there have been many questions and complaints about mattresses. I am only 5'10" and the mattress is barely long enough for me. Because the slide closes up and the mattress is pressed up against the wardrobe it is not possible to put a longer mattress, on 29MV. At Target I found a 36" long round sofa pillow. @ 6" in diameter. Bought 2 and when the slide is out, I pull the mattress out, slip the 2 pillows between the wall and mattress, flush the mattress to the pillows, and this gives me @ 6" extra length. pillows are basically flush with the top of the mattress and your regular sleeping pillows just lay right over.
Just remove the pillows before closing the slide.
Pillows were about $35 each, but so worth it. Hope this helps someone else

I tried that method for a while, then I just went out and bought a residential full queen mattress. Problem solved.

This however would not work on most models if the bedroom has a slider that would press the longer mattress against the wardrobe wall when closed as the OP mentioned.

I like the OP's method for those of us that have the slider/wardrobe wall issue....clever! I will do this. Thanks for the easy solution for those of us that are taller and need a bit more space.

Only issue is getting to the far side of the mattress, as there is about a foot and a half between the current mattress and cabinet side now. I sleep to the right, so I'd just crawl on the mattress, then make sure I don't drink a lot of fluids before bed time!
