a couple of questions fantastic fan and cab rubber seal

My fan is over the bed, what's the best way to work on it, remove the bed, remove the fan or something else?

When I start a trip, the rubber seal to the cab makes a lot of squeaking noise, it goes away after a few miles, should I spray anything on the seal from the inside?

I would use silicone spray on your rubber seal. Safe on paint too.

I'm not sure what you need to do to your fan, but I wouldn't remove it if possible.

fantastic fan mods

I deleted the gearbox operation from the thermostat, too noisy, woke me up when it opened and closed, removed the ckt board, rewired the fan so it comes on with the cover open goes off with it closed. The gearbox has a manual slide switch.

the plastic blade was warped and rubbing the housing, took off the bottom screen and heated the blade warped area with the cover open with a small propane torch till the plastic was soft and adjusted the warp out some, holding it till it cooled.

"No, really Mr Insurance Adjuster.... We were just riding along, and heard a funny noise in the area of the fan, and the next thing we knew, the whole RV was on fire...."

What separates people that "fix things" from those that, "pay to have it replaced", fear and knowledge. the blade is not available, to do the replace the blade you have to order a updated new motor, it comes with a blade, much easier to heat the blade some, a hair drier would also work but take longer. Don't heat the whole blade.
