access to battery compartment

I have a 2014 Melbourne 29 D and am having trouble getting the coach batteries out. Am I missing something that will allow the compartment to pull out further so I can remove the batteries? Thanks

What someone needs to do is take their RV to JAYCO's corp location. Have an electrical engineer come out to the RV and ask him/her to remove the back battery. Maybe then, there would be a new design after that.
