Can someone advise as to what the clear plastic item pictured is and its function. Have an 08 GH 31ss and is in the BWT flush line. The inlet pipe connects to the bottom of the clear plastic item, and the outlet pipe on the right goes back down to/thru the floor and disappears to the BWT spray heads I assume. All of this is located under the Bath vanity sink. Wife notice some water on the shelf under the sink after using the BWT flush last week when packing up for the trip home. We also heard a "buzzing" sound or like the water pump was running (it was not as we were CG water), she was in the bathroom and I was at the BWT flush connection outside and the water control panel is adjacent to the BWT flush connection on the outside wall of the bathroom. The exit connection looked like it was cross threaded so I disconnected the exit pipe and then re-connected it.
Also, should there be some Teflon tape on these connections ??
The first 2 times we used the MH the BT was not flushed using this connection (forgot the MH had it) but used it when we got to the CG while the BWT was empty and then when we dumped the tanks as well. Did not notice any water on the bathroom floor, so unfortunately, the particle board shelf absorbed the majority of the water.
