If you have a E450 motorhome, you probably have those rust lines coming out of the weep holes of your driver and passenger doors. Solution? The aforementioned Fluid Film - spray that stuff in the weep holes, spray it good. Wipe up the goo that comes out.

No more rust !

I love the stuff. I get mine at Home Depot. I’ve used it for many years on my trucks. I just picked up a new Greyhawk and noticed a lot of rust on the underside. I plan on spraying it down soon.

There is a garage in my area here in western PA that will spray your vehicle with Fluid Film for a small fee. He does quite a good job.

Could you use it on your outside propane tanks?

Interesting. Sounds a lot like Boeshield.

https://boeshield.com/marine/

Both products are apparently a fluid with either wax or lanolin. The fluid flashes off and leaves the wax/lanolin behind. The good thing about either one is that they don't attract dirt like an oil would.

Lanolin comes from sheep, and the Boeshield's paraffin is a petroleum derivative, so maybe Boeshield is better for vegans.

I pick up my new Greyhawk Prestige 29MVP next Tuesday. How much of this would I need for the undercarriage? Anyone have a ballpark estimate? I have no experience with this type of product.

I use FF and rust cop/ crown. Both have their place. On doors, be careful with fluid film it WILL make the rubber swell. Great stuff, but watch out on rubber stuff.

Try to find it at farm or construction equipment dealers. Our customers buy it in buckets to coat machinery before winter. Also comes in gallons and spray cans. Great stuff for chassis protection.
