Cable Tv
I have a 2017 31DS and can’t get my tv to play on cable. I hooked up the cable from the cable output box to the cable connection in the compartment where the electricial cord is.We turned of the power behind the tv( green light ). We auto scan but after a while it comes back saying no channels found.
Thank for any help.

Has the TV been set for cable? Is there a box in your unit that needs to be switched to cable?

digital cable
I developed the same problem in Williams, AZ at a camp. Worked fine the day before at a different camp. They had just upgraded to all digital cable and it was breaking RVs with multiple TVs. The RV-installed splitters aren't compatible. I hook ours up to the outside satellite input from the post (no hidden splitter buried somewhere) and it works fine. Same issue in Laughlin, NV and others. One camp owner said that she was going to pay more to switch back to analog because of the problem. It is similiar to needing a descambler cable box at all TVs the cable agent explained to me.

Move your TV out to the cable pedestal connection and see if it works there...
Alot of folks get caught with the TV WALL PLATE PANEL having its small LED on shoing you are sending up 12VDC to the BATWING amplifier which is inside the BATWING antenna on the roof. This will inhibit the CABLE TV connection from the perestal,,,
What this says...

I can’t bring it outside because we have the built-in entertainment center. I turned the switch off green light goes out.
This is the 3rd campground we have tried it and can’t get it to work since new.
Stumped, guess I will have to bring it to the dealer.

What brand TV? Is there a jumper by the antenna amplifier?

Has it ever worked? On my Seneca, the cable was so short behind the Ant/CATV switch it wasn’t connected. I had to reroute and stretch the cable to reach.

I looked and there is no jumper from the amplifier to the tv. Should there be one.

On some models there is a double male coax connector next to the amplifier with a jumper.

Check this previous topic . Post #2 has a pic of the jumper type connection. I know on our trailer none of the coax connections were tight & the cables were backwards on the jumper connection.

Trace the coax from the tv . It should go to the jack on the amp, unless there is another jack behind the tv.

A tool like this can be invaluable for testing the coax cable drops in your RV.

Yes, a coax should be attached tp the coax jack under the 12 vdc power supply and terminating in the video input on the tv.
