Cable TV

I do not have cable access right now, but while thinking antenna maintenance, I recalled being unable to get a cable signal at a cg. Antenna works great on “air” and I realize you have to switch to “cable” for reception.

Any other tricks? Inverter or power on/off?
Thank you

You need to turn the antenna amplifier off for cable.

Were you positive that the campground cable was actually working?

When hooked up to the cable, did you open the menu of the TV and set the signal source as "cable", and then do a re-scan for channels?

Yes, and yes, but good ideas to check for sure. Next time I have access to cable, am gonna try turning off the green power button as suggested above😊

Most all of us have encountered the learning curve of the little hard to find antenna light.. You are not alone by any means.

I just posted this on another thread about basically the same thing.
Forget the OTA/installed antenna/power buttons and the rest of the stuff that just frustrates users.

DISH or Directv, and if you want good Internet/Wifi get Starlink. I used to spend so much frustrating time trying to get TV to work when it really comes down to setting an antenna out, firing up the receiver and letting it search, lock and download the necessary information.
