You mean like you pulled into Cracker Barrel for lunch and get a call from the State Dept. that your expertise is urgently needed to avert a thermo nuclear war?

Hard to imagine the emergency that would override 5 minutes to unhook the toad and follow instructions from manufacturer. Ten thousand miles of towing and we had to unhook twice. Once when we pulled in behind someone to get gas and found out they had locked their keys in the car. Other time in a campground and just couldn't make a sharp enough right turn. Spent the time and did it right.

Yes there is. It's comparable to backing up an old style hay wagon where the front axle is 12 ft from the rear axle, and the front swivels. 70 years of you backing up normal trailers means nothing. This is why single, dual and triple axle camping trailers have the axles toward the middle. If you have to back the toad up 5 or 6 ft, maybe ok. Once the front axle of the toad starts to turn, you are already in trouble.

If you didn’t need to back just a few feet, you could pull the motorhome backward using the toad maybe?

I agree with that. Many times my wife has gotten upset with me for not pulling in to a station. There has to be an EASY way out before I’ll pull in
