Canadian National Parks

Has anyone camped at a national park in Canada and if so, does one need a power adapter for a 30 amp service RV? Any favorite national park in Canada that you would recommend?

Most will only be 30amp if they have power. Banff, Jasper, and Glacier National Park are
probably the 3 not to be missed. If you are going to be in British Columbia. Enjoy Bob

Canada is just like the US for power plugs. We never even think of it as another country.

Pukaskwa is our favorite. Its on Lake Superior in Ontario. No tourists really . Very wild country.

We just came back from the maritime provinces, we had full hookups with 30amp at each park. 15 amp was also in the power box.

I don't know if 50amp is available, DW booked the reservations.

we stayed at Cape Breton national park, NS, Cavendish beach national park ,PEI and Kouchibouguac , NB

each was spectacular for different reasons.

-beaches at Kouchibouguac and Cavendish
-outdoors and wildlife at Kouchibouguac and Cape Breton
-scenery at Cape Breton
-dinners (seafood) in NS and PEI

Thanks. That's good to know for possibly another future trip. The trip I'm planning now will be taking me through British Columbia to Alaska.

That sounds like quite a spectacular trip! thanks for the great info and reassurance on availability of full hookups. Hopefully such is also the case in British Columbia as well.

Not all National Park campgrounds have water and electric if that is a must! Reserve early if you want Jasper or Banff.. Both fill very quickly and its just about impossible to drive in and get a site.
There are some nice Provincial Park Campgrounds going up the Stewart Cassiar Hwy in BC for your next trip.
Alaska has beautiful State Park campgrounds but they are unserviced. We we underwhelmed by the RV parks in Alaska and Yukon.. Just parking lots full of dust. Again Territorial Parks in Yukon were generally very nice but no service
