Control unit update Sprinter

Good day Sprinter owners
We were travelling thru fjords in Saguenay in our 21 Melbourne Prestige when all driver instrumentation disappeared. No fuel gauge, speedometer, turn signals.... and of course being in middle of nowhere No wifi, and phone signal Drove on until we had signal and Amazingly and surprisingly there was a Benz dealer some 100 km away in Chicoutimi. Was a stressful drive in but they took us immediately A few hours later was good to go. Vehicle was under recall notice for control software update. Vehicle had been At our local dealer just prior to the trip and they did not do update. If you own a sprinter and you have not been contacted check to see if your sprinter is covered by recall Safe and happy travels
