I do in my driveway because is on a slight slope. Emergency brake is also deployed.

I carry chocks and highly suggest to use them anytime parking on a grade. However, I don't use them too often as I generally try to park on flat surfaces.

My suggestion (I think this matches the mfgr documentation for most Class C's), is if you have to park on an incline, hold your foot on the brake and have a partner place chocks under the tires (two or more) and then set the parking brake and then place the transmission in Park. ~CA

We don't leave without them...

I've had the dogs put their paws up on the dash, pushing the brake release valve - when I was not in the cab.. It is a scary sound.

"It looks level to me", famous last words. About 40 years ago I dropped my popup in a field without chocking wheels, and it rolled away by itself.

If it is on wheels I chock it except my cars. I chock them when I am changing oil, etc. and have them on ramps.

For winter storage I chock the rear tires so I don't have the parking brake on. Don't want to have the shoes rust onto the drums. But I think it would be wise camping on heavy grade even with leveling blocks to choke the wheels

Using chocks is a necessity, as I thought... Agree with the others in the thread that they are needed to park on the ground

Don't have any, never used them on Class C. Never had any problems. Drove a semi for 40 years, never used them, unless in a dock loading or unloading. If they make you feel better, use them.

I used them all the time with the toyhauler 5th wheel but not at all with the class c. I do set the emergency brake.
