Fredericksburg Tx
Relaxing in Fredericksburg Tx. The Texas Hill Country is so beautiful this time of year. We really are enjoying being Jayco owners again!

Fredericksburg ..... If you have a tow vehicle, take a ride on TX16 north to Llano and enjoy Cooper's BBQ. A great TX BBQ experience that you will brag about for years to come ...

Thanks Bourgreaux! Highway 16 to Llano is on our list. Beautiful drive. I just put Coopers BBQ on the list too. Thanks! I heard it’s great.
We pull our Jeep! Makes for great fun diving through the Hill Country. Did the Willow City Loop today. Wildflowers in springtime makes it a great time to be here.

Add Camp Verde just south of Kerrville. They are only open for lunch but it is great. Everything is from scratch. The ladies will enjoy the shopping there...bring $$$ Camp Verde was a fort that had camels.
Just north of James Avery's workshop there is another restaurant (forget the name) that was also very good.

If you have intentions of the rolling south of Kerrville to Camp Verde, You may as well visit Medina (TX 16 south of Kerrville) for Apple Ice Cream...

The name is "Cafe At The Ridge"......., been there a number of times, and yes a very nice place. Also onsite are the bakery & gardens.

"The Empty Cross" Sculpture Gardens (Route 16 & I-10) located just outside Kerrville is an extremely interesting and peaceful place as well...., often overlooked by many visitors to the area.

Where are you camping? We love that part of Texas, mostly for the great motorcycle roads. Sadly, I wouldn't take our Greyhawk on the Three Sisters (335, 336 and 337) due to the number of tight curves, but it is a lovely area to visit. Great beer and German food too in town.

Darn, read this two weeks too late. We stayed at Luckenbach for two nights and loved it. $15/night and although there are no hookups we liked walking to the jam sessions each night. A great place! We drove north on 16 through Llano and wish we knew about Coopers BBQ. We will go there next year!

Alamo Springs Cafe--best hamburger I have ever eaten. Great onion rings also. It is close to state park where bats come out at sundown. Both of these should be close to you.

Don’t forget to stop by the Garrison Brothers distillery. Great place to sample the wares while sitting around a campfire!
