Fuse Box Fan

Is it normal for the fan in the fuse box on the side of the bed to run every 30 minutes or so for about 20 seconds? Seems to happen more at night?

Yes since it comes on based on the load on the converter and heat. Could be that is when your battery is getting the most charge,

Open the face and look at the blades for dust bunnies or anything blocking cooling. Mine doesn't do that in any of the last three rvs. Maybe your batteries are getting old and need topping off more frequently?

Being a 2020 model that I took delivery in February, I don't think the batteries are bad. I have 400 Watts of solar so maybe the batteries are topped off during the day and are draining at night which might be causing the fan to run.

All I typically run at night is the DirecTV and some lights. It seems to run more after we go to bed and then nothing is running except the fridge on LP?

Still a mystery but very annoying.

It runs on and off all day to keep the battery charged. You just notice it at night when all is quiet. Fridge on lp still uses 12 volts for control circuit. Lights are 12 volts.
