Hot water heater problem

I have a 2018 Jayco 29MVP. My daughter was using this weekend and the water heater would not work on either gas or electric. It is Model # GC6AA-10E. When she told me the electric would not work on it I told her to switch to gas. It would not work. Any suggestions? I appreciate your looking.

Of course the first question is: Were the valves open and was there water in it?” Always start with the simple and cheapest fix. Fuses are good? If those points are covered time to check the wiring and grab a multimeter.... Hopefully it’s an easy fix!

Very common for the recent Atwood HWH igniter boards to go bad. Many, many of us have had them fail. If under warranty the dealer should handle, likely they would replace it with another Atwood board.

However if it is not in warranty I would recommend replacing it with a Dinosaur Electronics board. They seem to be very reliable. You can even get them on Amazon and many larger RV dealers stock them.

I found the problem. It was a 2 amp fuse they use to protect it.

Next question to ask her is did the water heater have water in it when she turned the electric on? If yes NP, if no the electric heating element is toast and it probably will keep blowing fuses.
