Thanks jj1946 for the confirmation. Do you also have to turn on the pump?

No, when I want to drain everything I just open all the valves & walk away & let everything drain.

That task is rig specific. Once you learn yours you are set. Other rigs may or may not be the same procedure.

All of my previous RV's had different drains and locations as you mentioned, they are not all the same.

With that, on my 2010 Greyhawk, there is a tank drain that looks similar to a water color spigot on the sidewall about a foot or two past the rear wheels on the drivers side, and the low point line drains are in a storage compartment just in front of the rear wheels on the passenger side. It is possible on mine to leave the fresh water tank drain open and still use the shore water supply, although I am not sure why one would want to leave the drain open. ~CA

Almost same on our 2016 31FK. Water cooler spigot in front of driver rear; two low point valves in compartment, passenger behind rear wheels.

I notice if I run the pump a little, the water spits out of the low points, rather than run out.

If it is like my 2002 Granite Ridge there are three low point drains. One is along pump line right at the pump, the other two are below the hose hookup in that same basement, The front one will drain the HWH, etc., the backone will drain the FWT (mostly because they aren't flat and hold some in if not slightly off level). I tried pictures but couldn't get them to upload.

This proves my point on my original post. Once you learn how your rig drains and how to do it, you are set.

They are not all alike!
