Also, where would be the best place to connect the power line of the camera? Can I attach that to any of the existing power lines without losing any functionality of the existing lights / camera? Any concerns about drilling into the roof or side panel? Thanks again for the help - much appreciated. John

We had a wireless backup camera on a Airstream travel trailer...it actually came from the factory with that option installed. Worked great!
They used the rear marker lights to run power to the camera which was mounted center rear up high by one of the lights.
The camera screen mounted to dash with velcro or windshield with a provided suction cup. It plugged into a 12 volt cig socket.
The picture was great and even had sound...only thing was that you had to turn on the running lights for the camera to activate. No big deal really. I liked the fact that it would stay on all the time and I could monitor traffic behind me going down the road. Screen was color and had a really clear picture. I can't remember the name brand but it sure was a good one.
I have thought about adding one to my motor home. That Jayco factory camera is hard to see at the angle the screen is and very small picture. On my wish list!
